This is the draft and first attempt of my front cover for my school/college magazine. I chose this title and image because they both promote a very formal and highly intellectual style. i chose the typography of the masthead because it looked like sophysticated handwriting which is relevant for school. for the featured text on the cover i choose eye catching words such as, 'HELP', 'NEWS' and 'GOSSIP' withc the idea that these words will draw in a readers attention. the image on the front shows school text books and class books showing that this issue is relevant to class and helping you with school related issues. i have used a clean colour scheme black white red because they are all clear against each other creating no difficulties in reading the content.
